The Icelandic Association of Northern
California is open to anyone who is interested in meeting Icelandic
people and/or exploring the unique culture.
The Association represents people of many
different backgrounds. Some of our members are Icelandic Americans
who have roots going back to Iceland. Others are Icelanders who
either permanently or temporarily reside in Northern California working
or studying while still other members are simply good friends of

Just out! Our Winter (February) 2015 Newsletter.
We are pleased to announce that our annual Thorrablót
will again be held at the beautiful Norwegian Club at 1900 Fell Street
(at Clayton St.) in San Francisco.
There is only space for 100 people at the club so we will be selling out
fast. Make those payments soon!
The festivities will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.with a no-host bar
and dinner will be served promptly at 7:30 p.m. We will be enjoying
the wonderful culinary delicacies of chef Pelle of the Norwegian Club
with a choice of two entrees and Thorra food appeticers imported
fresh from Iceland. Raffle prize winners will be announced at 10 p.m.
We will then sing and dance until midnight, when the lights have to go out.
