The Icelandic Association of Northern
California is open to anyone who is interested in meeting Icelandic
people and/or exploring the unique culture.
The Association represents people of many
different backgrounds. Some of our members are Icelandic Americans
who have roots going back to Iceland. Others are Icelanders who
either permanently or temporarily reside in Northern California working
or studying while still other members are simply good friends of

Please join us for a fun Icelandic Independence Day celebration at the great Henrik Ibsen Park, at 100 Henrik Ibsen Park Road,
Woodside. It is a beautiful and scenic, private location that's great for the kids. It has barbeques for you to use if you want to
bring something to grill, but there is also a cafe there where you can get burgers, sandwiches and much more.
There is a swimming pool there that you can use for free until 6pm. The bar is also open until 5pm, where you can get a cold Carlsberg
on tap or any other drink you like. Owned by the Sons of Norway, Henrik Ibsen Park has a large playground for the kids and lots of parking.
We will be providing games for the kids too! Come celebrate summer and the 17th of June with fellow Icelanders at a great place for the whole family!
It's easy to find Henrik Ibsen Park. For more info see our events page
