The association's main purpose is to
strengthen the bonds between people of Icelandic background and
their unique heritage. Through annual social and cultural
events our many members revive and honor
Iceland's strong cultural and social traditions.
The association represents people of many
different backgrounds. Some of our members are Icelandic Americans
who have roots going back to
Iceland. Others are Icelanders who
either permanently or temporarily reside here in California working
or studying while still other members are simply good friends of
Iceland.
The board consists of bright, enthusiastic and caring people like you who
volunteer their time for the association. We are always open to new people who want to
participate.
